It's impossible to capture the moment and live in it at the same time. I'll provide two hours of "casual" photography at your party or event - allowing you to enjoy the moment! (expect 30 - 80 minimally edited snapshots)

Allow me to capture the big game and/or provide pics for the whole team! Up to three hours - action shots, team/group shots, individuals. (expect 40 - 70 fully edited photos)

Every shoot begins with a conversation about your expectations and preferences. We'll work together to plan out any particular poses or special subjects you have have in mind. We'll also discuss your editing preference. (For example, do you want that soft "artsy" look, or a more natural feel?) Finally, we'll confirm the logistics and calendar!
Once we have the details ironed out, I'll put it all in writing for us. Prior to the shoot, you'll receive a work agreement that spells out all the particulars (dates, times, prices, etc) as well as a brief synapsis of our discussion and plan.
Our initial conversation will certainly act as a guide for the day of the shoot. That said, you can expect some level of guidance when it comes to pose, light, and location. Different subjects typically require varying degrees of assistance in these areas, so I strive to be very flexible in this regard.
Depending on the type of shoot, I also tend to take candid shots throughout the job. As often as not, these can capture a feeling or moment that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
I'll arrive with our discussed gameplan, but allow for the flexibility to pivot should it make sense to do so.
Depending on the type and scope of the project, your picture gallery can take upwards of two weeks to deliver. In some cases you'll be provided with a proof gallery that require input from you (i.e. - select the photos you'd like to see edited, etc.), but in most cases I'll cull out any misfires/duplicates, edit the top shots and you'll receive a finalized digital gallery. Those digital items are yours to download, share, or use however you see fit. If you're looking for prints or photo gifts, your gallery will allow you to connect directly with my printing partners to order them, or you are certainly welcome to take the digital version to a different source for printing.
Unless otherwise discussed, your gallery will be live and available for 6 months - you are encouraged to download the photos during that window. After the six month period, your photos will be archived and fees may apply to re-retrieve them.
In most cases, yes. Obviously, there are occasional scheduling conflicts or limitations which will prohibit extending the session, but we do our best to be flexible. Your initial agreement will show our agreed upon duration and a rate for extending (billed in half-hour increments).
I normally shoot with a full frame, Sony, mirrorless DSLR. I have a number of zoom and prime lenses, flashes, tripods, etc. that can be used as the situation demands. Every photo is captured at the camera level in both jpg and RAW format (each on independent memory cards). This redundancy provides piece of mind that memory card failure won't wipe away your moments!
Absolutely not. While I'd love for you to take advantage of my printing partnerships, your digital images are yours to do as you please.
